Palm Springs – All‑American 4th of July Pool Party & Concert
This celebration takes place at Palm Springs Swim Center on July 4. The pool party starts at 3:00 p.m., the concert at 7:00 p.m., and fireworks at 9:15 p.m.
Indio – Family-focused bash featuring live music, food, kids’ activities and a high‑tech drone show. This event will be at the Empire Polo Grounds on July 4, 6:00–10:00 p.m., drone show at 9:30 p.m.
Rancho Mirage – An evening of live DJ sets and festive promotions ending with a dazzling fireworks display. This event will be held at the Agua Caliente Casino in Rancho Mirage on July 4, with a Fireworks Extravaganza show at 9:00 p.m.
The Palm Springs Aerial Tramway’s Summer Pass, available through August 31, offers the perfect escape from desert heat—ride up to the mountaintop, where temperatures are 30º-40º cooler than on the desert floor, as much as you like! You’ll enjoy unlimited tram admissions, free parking, plus a 10% discount on extra tram rides and at the Peaks Restaurant and Pines Café.

Taste of Summer Rancho Mirage returns this year as a vibrant fundraising food fest. For just $10, wristband holders can indulge in exclusive summer specials at participating local eateries, all while supporting nonprofit groups that sell the bands to raise funds. It kicks off with a lively Mixer at the Omni Rancho Las Palmas on July 23. It’s a delicious way to savor local flavors, support community causes, and keep restaurant patios abuzz during the Coachella Valley’s quieter stretch.

The Idyllwild Summer Concert Series lights up the Butterfield Amphitheater every Thursday evening from early July through late August, bringing free, family‑friendly live music nights to the mountain town. Starting July 3, a mix of local favorites, tribute bands, rock, Latin, country, big band, and more will entertain locals and visitors. You’ll enjoy bandstand dancing, casual picnic vibes, and cool mountain air.
