PALM SPRINGS RESTAURANT WEEK: through June 8

Palm Springs Restaurant Week is a 10-day culinary celebration featuring special prix fixe menus at over 35 restaurants across the Coachella Valley. It’s a great chance to discover new favorites while enjoying gourmet meals at a great value. Participating spots like Workshop Kitchen + Bar, La Quinta Cliffhouse, and Wilma & Frieda’s showcase everything from inventive California cuisine to beloved comfort food. SHORTFEST FILM FESTIVAL: JUNE 24-30

The Palm Springs International ShortFest is a premier celebration of short-form cinema, showcasing over 300 films from more than 60 countries. As an Academy Award, BAFTA, and Goya-qualifying festival, it offers a diverse lineup of genres—from comedies and documentaries to animations and dramas—each screening followed by engaging Q&As with filmmakers. Beyond the films, ShortFest features the ShortFest Forum, providing panels, lectures, and intimate conversations with industry professionals.

CELEBRATE JUNETEENTH: JUNE 19

Palm Springs’ 2025 Juneteenth celebration offers a vibrant lineup of events honoring African American freedom and culture. Festivities kick off with a special VillageFest edition downtown, followed by the Kings & Queens Pageant at the James O. Jessie Desert Highland Unity Center. A tribute concert to Kool & the Gang will energize Downtown Park, and the Palm Springs Art Museum will screen the documentary Racist Trees. The celebration culminates with a Unity Picnic featuring food, music, and community activities.

EQUALITY FOOD AND WINE FEST - JUNE 7

The 3rd Annual Palm Springs Equality Wine & Food Fest is a vibrant celebration of diversity and inclusion in the wine industry, spotlighting LGBTQ+ and women-owned or produced wines. Set in the elegant atrium of the Hyatt Palm Springs, the festival offers attendees the chance to sample over 100 wines from premier regions like Napa, Sonoma, and Amador, complemented by gourmet bites, live entertainment, and engaging demonstrations.

PALM SPRINGS POWER BASEBALL: MAY 1, 8, 15, 22, 29

Palm Springs Power Baseball returns for its 21st season with thrilling summer games at Palm Springs Stadium and a shot at a third straight CPCL championship. Home games run Tuesday through Saturday, featuring fun promos like $3 Draft Tuesdays, $5 Margaritas on Wednesdays, and free admission for kids under 12 on Saturdays. Fans can enjoy themed nights like Pride Night, Boomers Night, and a festive Fourth of July game capped with fireworks. It’s affordable, family-friendly entertainment under the desert sky.

PALM SPRINGS FIREFIGHTERS FISH FRY: JUNE 7

The 92nd Annual Palm Springs Firefighters Fish Fry returns to Ruth Hardy Park on Saturday, June 7, from 6 to 10 p.m. For just $15, enjoy a hearty plate of rainbow trout, hamburgers, or hot dogs, served with classic summer sides like corn on the cob, coleslaw, watermelon, and dinner rolls. The evening features live country tunes from DJ Big-John Miller of KPLM 106.1 FM and line dancing led by the HomeTown Country Dancers. With raffle prizes and a festive atmosphere, this long-standing community tradition is a flavorful way to support your local firefighters.

EXPERIENCE MYSTERY AND MAGIC LIVE

Marvyn’s Magic Theater in La Quinta offers an intimate, 21-and-over venue showcasing world-class magic and comedy acts. In June, the theater features performances by Jeff Hobson on June 12 and Matt Marcy on June 13–14. Shows run Thursday through Saturday at 6:00 PM, with additional 8:30 PM shows on demand.

The Rock Gallery Comedy Club in downtown Palm Springs is bringing the laughs this June with a standout lineup. Highlights include Dick Salas on June 6, Eric Freedman on June 7, Jimmy Della Valle on June 14, and a fast-paced Roast Battle on June 21. Katherine Yoon takes the stage June 20, and weekly Open Mic Nights every Wednesday keep the energy high.
