The Coachella Valley Firebirds are set to kick off their highly anticipated third season in the AHL with a home game on October 11, 2024 at Acrisure Arena. The Firebirds have quickly established themselves as a powerhouse in the league, reaching the Calder Cup Finals in their first two seasons. This season opener will be followed by two more home games on October 16 and 26, offering fans plenty of early opportunities to cheer on their team. The Firebirds’ roster blends new talent and seasoned players, and the team looks poised for another competitive season

The Joshua Tree Music Festival will once again bring an eclectic mix of global talent to the Mojave Desert for a four-day celebration of music, art, and community. This year’s lineup includes headliners like Sgt. Splendor, known for their groovy, desert-infused rock, and Saritah, who will captivate the crowd with her uplifting blend of reggae and soul. Along with live performances, festival-goers can enjoy yoga, healing workshops, and immersive art installations, all in the magical Joshua Tree setting.

The NVISION Latino Film & Music Festival, hosted by the Palm Springs Art Museum, celebrates its 10th anniversary. Paint El Paseo Pink is an annual community walk taking place on El Paseo in Palm Desert. Organized by the Desert Cancer Foundation, the event aims to raise awareness and funds for breast cancer care and treatment. Participants are encouraged to wear pink and walk in honor of cancer survivors and in memory of those who have passed. The Epson Tour Championship, held at the Indian Wells Golf Resort Player’s Course, is the final event of the Epson Tour, the official qualifying circuit for the LPGA.
