COACHELLA MUSIC FESTIVAL: APR 11-13, 18-20

The 2025 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival boasts an impressive lineup with headliners Lady Gaga, Green Day, Post Malone, and Travis Scott. Lady Gaga will grace the stage on both Fridays, delivering her signature performances. Green Day is scheduled for Saturday nights, sharing the spotlight with Travis Scott. Post Malone will close out the festival on Sundays. Additional notable acts include Missy Elliott, Charli XCX, Megan Thee Stallion, FKA twigs, and BLACKPINK members Jennie and Lisa performing separately. STAGECOACH MUSIC FESTIVAL: APR 25-27

The 2025 Stagecoach Festival at the Empire Polo Club promises an eclectic blend of country roots and contemporary sounds. Headliners include the soulful Zach Bryan on Friday, genre-blending Jelly Roll on Saturday, and chart-topping Luke Combs closing out Sunday. The festival also features the return of Diplo’s HonkyTonk tent, curated by Diplo himself, offering a fusion of country and electronic music with performances by artists like Paris Hilton and DJ Pee .Wee (Anderson .Paak).

OPERA IN THE PARK: APR 6

Opera in the Park draws thousands annually for a free outdoor concert featuring beloved opera arias performed by accomplished professionals and a full orchestra. The event will take place at Sunrise Park in Palm Springs, beginning at 5:00 PM. Attendees are encouraged to bring blankets or lawn chairs to enjoy the performances in a relaxed, scenic setting. Guests can pre-order a Dinner to-Go or bring their own picnic to enjoy during the concert.

20 YEARS OF MODERNISM IN INDIAN WELLS - APR 8

The Indian Wells Preservation Foundation will host “20 Years of Modernism Week: Impact on Indian Wells” at the Indian Wells City Hall. The event features guest speaker Lisa Vossler Smith, CEO of Modernism Week, who will discuss the region’s mid-century modern architectural heritage and Indian Wells’ role over the past decade. The program includes reflections from city leaders and an afternoon reception.

MOVIES IN THE PARK: APR 15, 29

Don’t miss “Movies in the Park,” a free outdoor film series presented by the Palm Springs Cultural Center. Screenings are scheduled on select Tuesdays at 7:00 PM in the Downtown Park, located across from the Palm Springs Art Museum. Attendees can dine downtown or bring takeout to enjoy a picnic during the films. This month’s feature films include “The Love Bug” on April 15 and “The Secret of NIMH” on April 29,

DESERT ARC GOLF CLASSIC: APR 7

The 15th Annual Desert Arc Golf Classic takes place at Eagle Falls Golf Course in Indio. This annual tournament is a significant fundraiser for Desert Arc, an organization dedicated to enhancing the quality of life and creating opportunities for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The event promises a day of friendly competition and community engagement, with proceeds supporting Desert Arc’s vital programs and services.

FIREBIRDS PLAYOFF PUSH

The Coachella Valley Firebirds are gearing up for their third consecutive playoff run as the regular season nears its end. Their final homestand features several crucial matchups at Acrisure Arena on April 2, 9, 12, 13, and 18. As of March 29, the Firebirds are tied for 3rd place in the Pacific Division standings, keeping them firmly in the playoff hunt.  Fans can anticipate intense action as the team strives to secure their postseason berth.

DESERT X: Through MAY 11

Desert X continues this month, showcasing site-specific installations that explore themes like Indigenous futurism, colonial power dynamics, and humanity’s impact on the land. Curated by Neville Wakefield and Kaitlin Garcia-Maestas, this edition features works by renowned artists such as Sanford Biggers, Agnes Denes, and Alison Saar. A highlight is Denes’s The Living Pyramid, now on view at Sunnylands.
