Under the baton of Music Director John Mario Di Costanzo, you’ll hear celebrated vocalists such as John Mario di Costanzo (yes — conductor and soloist!) join forces with the Philharmonic to bring classic opera arias to life.

Veterans Day Parade: Nov 11

The Palm Springs Veterans Day Parade is a warm, respectful tribute that brings the community together to honor our veterans. This respected parade, now more than 26 years strong, brings in military units, marching bands, veterans’ organizations and community participants in a meaningful tribute: “Honor All Who Served.” This event offers a heartfelt moment of gratitude in the Coachella Valley—with a real sense of community, pride and respect for those who served.

Palm Springs Food & Wine Exprience: Nov 15-16

The Palm Springs Food & Wine Experience brings together top chefs and vinters for an energetic, flavor-packed weekend in the desert. Among the standout culinary talent are celebrity chefs like Joe Sasto, known for his wildfire-inspired cooking style, and Susan Feniger, whose bold global flavors have earned her a loyal following. From live cooking demos to tasting tents featuring wines, spirits, and savory bites, this festival is a full-on foodie experience.

Palm Springs Pride:  Nov 6-9

This lively four-day celebration in downtown Palm Springs is a vibrant celebration of the spirit of inclusion. With a headline performance by the legendary disco group Sister Sledge — best known for “We Are Family” — the festival offers big-stage entertainment, a welcoming street-festival marketplace and a moving parade that lets everyone feel seen and celebrated.

Props & Hops Craft Beer Festival: Nov 22

Props & Hops at the Palm Springs Air Museum is where vintage aviation meets the best of modern brewing. Picture sipping a cold IPA beneath the wings of a WWII-era aircraft while live bands fill the air with great music. With dozens of craft breweries from around the Southwest pouring their most creative beers, it’s a festival that celebrates both history and hops.

Indio BBQ Festival: Nov 8

Downtown Indio comes alive for the 10th Annual BBQ Festival, a free-admission evening that brings together pit-masters, live music, and pure desert fun. The streets fill up with the aroma of brisket, ribs, and pulled pork from a wide variety of BBQ vendors. You’ll also find a dedicated craft-beer garden where adults can grab a pint, and families will appreciate the carnival games and jumpers keeping the kids entertained.

McCormick’s Classic Car Auction: Nov 21-23

Step back in time and immerse yourself in automotive history at McCormick’s Classic Car Auction. Over 500 gleaming collector cars roll across the auction block—from elegant vintage convertibles to muscle cars with engines that growl. Even if you’re not bidding, it’s an exhilarating spectacle to witness. The craftsmanship, nostalgia, and sheer beauty of these cars make this event a must for anyone who loves the art of driving. Cathedral City Hot Air Balloon Festival: Nov 21-23

The 11th Annual Cathedral City Hot Air Balloon Festival fills the desert sky with more than 20 colorful balloons during a spectacular three-day celebration that draws over 25,000 visitors. Ranked among U.S. News & World Report’s Top 14 hot air balloon festivals, it features sunrise launches, the stunning evening “balloon glow,” and live performances including Robin Thicke, Queen Nation, and Radio Ready. It’s a perfect mix of music, color, and community spirit that makes this one of the valley’s most magical weekends.

Coachella Valley Firebirds: Nov 1, 5, 11, 16, 21, 23, 29

As November rolls in, the Firebirds have several home-game opportunities and two standout “theme nights” to mark on the calendar. On Saturday, November 1, the team will host a Dia de los Muertos themed night — the players wear special jerseys and fans receive a themed poncho giveaway.   Later this month, another promotional highlight features a Military Themed Bucket Hat giveaway.  Home games bring the community together at Acrisure Arena for spirited hockey, live entertainment, and local energy.

Wildlights at The Living Desert: Nov 25 - Dec 30

The beloved holiday tradition returns to The Living Desert Zoo and Gardens in Palm Desert—lighting up select nights from late November through December with over three million twinkling lights, festive displays like a 30-foot holiday tree and 16-foot glowing snowman, holiday music, and photo-ready scenes throughout the zoo’s African Safari section (yes, you’ll see giraffes and rhinos under the glow). Tickets must be reserved in advance.
