Fashion Week El Paseo, the West Coast’s largest fashion week, takes place at The Gardens on El Paseo in Palm Desert. The Galleri Classic, a premier PGA TOUR Champions event, takes place at the renowned Mission Hills Country Club in Rancho Mirage. This tournament will feature 78 golf legends competing for a $2.2 million purse. Notable participants include Fred Couples, Bernhard Langer, Vijay Singh, Steve Stricker, and Jim Furyk. Proceeds from the event will benefit six local cancer charities in the Coachella Valley.

The American Documentary and Animation Film Festival (AmDocs) returns to Palm Springs, showcasing over 220 films from around the world. Glow in the Park is returning to The Living Desert Zoo and Gardens. This is one of my favorite events; you won’t want to miss it! This luminous nighttime event features mesmerizing, larger-than-life lanterns and stunning displays, offering guests of all ages a unique after-hours zoo experience. Attendees can explore interactive exhibits, enjoy live entertainment, and savor specialty-themed cocktails and mocktails. Special themed nights include a Member Preview Night, an Adults Only (18+) Night, and Pride Night.

The Palm Desert Food & Wine Festival returns, offering a four-day celebration of gourmet cuisine, fine wine, and craft beverages. Desert X 2025 returns to the Coachella Valley, showcasing site-specific installations that explore themes like Indigenous futurism, colonial power dynamics, and humanity’s impact on the land. Curated by Neville Wakefield and Kaitlin Garcia-Maestas, this edition features works by renowned artists such as Sanford Biggers, Agnes Denes, and Alison Saar. A highlight is Denes’s The Living Pyramid, now on view at Sunnylands. Desert X offers a unique opportunity to experience thought-provoking contemporary art against the stunning desert landscape.
